CUBANACAN AND THE OLD U.S. AMBASSADOR'S RESIDENCE

Left: Built in 1941 as the U.S. Ambassador's residence. Located in Cubanacan, a very swank suburb of Havana about a 15-20 minute drive from Habana Vieja, it is currently the home to the head of the U.S. Interest Section in Cuba.
Left: The original eagle from the monument, located in Havana, to the sunken Maine graces the backyard. It was knocked off during a hurricane in the 1950s.(click on image to see larger picture)
