There are four main plazas in Habana Vieja (Old Havana) all within a 5 minute walk from eachother.
                       They are:

Plaza Vieja         Plaza de las Armas        Plaza de la Cathedral        Plaza de San Francisco

The Malecon, a 1.5 mile walkway, sea wall and road running parallel to the Straits of Florida, begins near the Plaza de las Armas and the Plaza de la Cathedral, along Havana Harbor.

Art Nouveau - In Central Havana and Old Havana there are some beautiful examples of art nouveau architecture. Art nouveau was a fluid, phsychedelic style that began in the late 1800s and only lasted until around 1910. To learn more about art nouveau click here.

Havana Suburbs - Like any big city Havana stretches out for miles. Once you leave Old Havana you head through Central Havana, Vedado, and then out in the suburbs. Cubanacan is an area of beautiful homes, about a 15-20 minute drive outside of Old Havana. Included here are pictures of the original US Ambassador's Residence, now occupied by the Head of U.S. Interest Section in Cuba.

Around Havana - includes a variety of photos of side-streets, Plaza de la Revoluccion and street scenes around Havana.
